Our Story

Born from the desert, shaped by real knowledge of Morocco.

DesertBrise Travel began far from the idea of a conventional travel company. It began in the Moroccan desert, where silence is vast, horizons feel endless, and every journey carries a different meaning.

Our founder, Khalil, was born in Elboutia near M’Hamid El Ghizlane, the last village before the Sahara unfolds into open expanse. Raised between desert landscapes and village traditions, he discovered Morocco first as home — through its rhythms, its people, and its many layers of beauty.

As a young guide, he led travelers across the Sahara along paths shaped by local memory and lived experience. But beyond the dunes and dramatic landscapes, he saw something more lasting: travel at its best has the power to move people deeply, creating connection not only with a place, but with culture, perspective, and self.

After more than ten years of experience in the field, Khalil founded DesertBrise Travel in 2017 with a simple but ambitious vision: to offer journeys through Morocco that feel authentic, refined, and deeply human.

Today, DesertBrise has grown into a full-service travel company creating curated experiences throughout the country — from Marrakech, Fes, and Chefchaouen to the Atlas Mountains, the Atlantic coast, and the timeless stillness of the Sahara. Every itinerary is shaped with care and delivered through a trusted network of local guides, drivers, and partners who share our standards for quality, warmth, and authenticity.
